In Europe for many years there have been specific rules and guidelines governing the use of FRP in construction at all stages of the intervention, from the choice of the intervention to the laying and the related tests. There are specific guidance for the use of FRP in seismic zone, coherent with literature and the most modern codes, in particular with the OPCM 3274/03 provisions, as modified by the OPCM 3431 of 3/5/05 and referred to the D.M . of September the 14th, 2005. Methods and practical rules are described accurately for the installation of FRP reinforcements, for their monitoring and the related control. The main interventions with FRP on masonry structures are discussed. Some numerical examples, related to such applications to carry out on reinforced concrete structures, are presented.
