To stay at the forefront in this field Olympus conducts various research projects. The novelty of these technologies implies the need for constant updating and wide-ranging research enables us to always be competitive and to offer our customers the most attractive and less invasive technologies, often avoiding unnecessary economic disputes and the certainty of result guaranteed. Given the specificity of such interventions Olympus organized for all the departments concerned information events in order to clarify any doubts about these innovative techniques that, given the speed with which those are introduced on the market, are often not supported by adequate information. Our presence at numerous events throughout the FOSOF ’08 Made Expo ’09 and the SAIE ’09 – ’10 is linked to the desire to be close to all the technicians and operators with the aim of bringing as much as possible in this area all dedicated those who are interested. The search took years to the characterization of new materials and reinforcement systems, for example by introducing in addition to traditional carbon fiber aramid and glass epoxy matrix, including new types of fiber and matrix as that used in steel fiber cement matrix or Epoxy-cement, providing enhanced features to the system of reinforcement as the highest fire resistance, greater breathability and the ability to create a simple system of pre-tension.
