<p>Il presente volume riguarda numerosi argomenti strettamente legati alle innovative applicazioni dei materiali compositi nelle costruzioni civili, industriali e di interesse monumentale.</p>
<p>Le tecniche di rinforzo strutturale mediante l’utilizzo dei materiali compositi, anche detti FRP, rappresentano oggi una realtà consolidata nel panorama tecnico nazionale ed internazionale, e sono parte integrante delle opere di recupero degli edifici interessati dal sisma che ha colpito l’Abruzzo.</p>
<p>Di particolare rilevanza e a differenza con altri minori testi tecnici che affrontano problematiche costruttive, il testo si sofferma lungamente nella descrizione delle caratteristiche delle tecnologie adoperate per la realizzazione di manufatti o per interventi di ripristino strutturale in monumenti particolari o in semplici strutture comuni.</p>
<p>Gli specifici aspetti realizzativi dei rinforzi su strutture in c.a., legno, muratura e acciaio sono approfonditamente analizzati sia per ciò che riguarda gli aspetti tecnico-progettuali sia per ciò che riguarda le fasi realizzative dell’opera e le successive caratterizzazioni meccaniche dei sistemi posti in opera.</p>
<p>Numerosi schemi di voci di capitolato e particolari costruttivi presenti all’interno del volume forniscono un utile strumento da utilizzare direttamente nell’ambito di documentazioni tecniche di vario genere.</p>
<p>Gli esempi riportati e le descrizioni di modalità di collaudo e monitoraggio degli interventi completano il testo, che diviene così un valido strumento per il progettista ma anche per l’utilizzatore finale.</p>
<p>Il volume costituisce una fondamentale guida pratica per l’ingegnere, il progettista, l’architetto o qualsiasi altro tecnico voglia avvicinarsi concretamente a questa innovativa tecnica di consolidamento strutturale.</p>
<p>Nel CD-ROM allegato sono presenti fogli di calcolo che consentono al tecnico di effettuare con semplicità e rapidità il pre-dimensionamento di un rinforzo strutturale, così da semplificare le operazioni preliminari di calcolo e rendere più accessibile l’utilizzo di queste innovative tecniche di consolidamento.</p>
<p>I fogli di calcolo consentono di realizzare le seguenti verifiche di elementi rinforzati con FRP:</p>
<p>- verifica della resistenza a sforzo normale di pilastri a sezione circolare in c.a. rinforzati con FRP;</p>
<p>- verifica della resistenza a sforzo normale di pilastri a sezione rettangolare in c.a. rinforzati con FRP;</p>
<p>- verifica della resistenza a taglio di travi in c.a. rinforzate con FRP;</p>
<p>- verifica della resistenza flessionale di travi in c.a. rinforzate con FRP.</p>
<p>Requisiti minimi hardware e software<br />
Processore a 1.00 GHz; MS Windows XP/Vista/7 (per utenti MS Windows Vista e MS Windows 7 sono necessari i privilegi di “amministratore”); 60MB liberi sull’HDD; RAM: 256 MB per MS Windows XP, 512 MB per MS Windows Vista/7; MS Excel 2000.</p>

<p style="text-align: justify;">Il CARBON FIBER DESIGN CONTEST si propone di sensibilizzare architetti, designer e progettisti all’utilizzo della fibra di carbonio in settori nuovi rispetto a quelli tradizionali di applicazione, sfruttando e valorizzando le caratteristiche tecniche proprie del materiale: resistenza meccanica, leggerezza e modellabilità. Il concorso è rivolto al settore del product design (interni ed esterni) e punta a stimolare da un lato la ricerca di forme nuove intese come linguaggi tipici del materiale, dall’altro lato la ricerca di una innovazione nell’uso dovuta alle peculiarità della fibra di carbonio.</p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Il concorso è promosso da Olympus-FRP, specializzata in materiali compositi, fibre di carbonio, e nuove tecnologie al servizio dell’ingegneria e dell’architettura, assieme a NCD Architects e deZign Studio, con il patrocinio dell’ADI &#8211; Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, dell’Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, del MiBAC Ministero per i Beni e le Attività Culturali e della Confartigianato, e con il sostegno di Simonetta Pegorari, dell’Università Europea del Design di Pescara e di Medart, come occasione per portare avanti una ricerca sul materiale individuandone usi innovativi.</p>

Il consolidamento a flessione è avvenuto attraverso disposizione del tessuto lungo l&#8217;intradosso, mentre per il rinforzo a taglio sono state disposte fasciature ad U con interasse 20 cm. </span></strong></h4>

<h4 style="text-align: justify;"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">Intervento di consolidamento di archi e volte di un rudere a Monte di Procida (NA). L&#8217;intervento ha previsto prima la sarcitura della lesioni e la posa in opera di tiranti metallici per il consolidamento della spinta sugli archi. Successivamente si è provveduto al preconsolidamento delle strutture orizontali mediante microiniezioni di malta e alla cucitura di lesioni mediante lamine OLY PLATE CARBO 50 di archi e volte. Infine si è passati all&#8217;applicazione del tessuto in carbonio OLY TEX ad integrazione sulle lamine e sulle strutture verticali.</span></strong></h4>
